What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: RN (PRN) position at AVAIL HEALTH AND BEHAVIORAL SOLUTION?
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments in the client’s home or care setting
- Complete start of care (SOC), recertifications, evaluations, and supervisory visits as needed
- Develop, update, and maintain individualized care plans according to client needs
- Provide clinical oversight to caregivers and ensure compliance with agency standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and skilled nursing procedures within scope of practice
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, care staff, and healthcare providers
- Document all services accurately and timely in accordance with company and state guidelines
- Respond to PRN requests for nursing services, evaluations, and urgent client needs
- Ensure safety, infection control, and high-quality care at all times
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (home health experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- CPR certification (required)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing client needs
- Comfortable with electronic documentation systems (or willingness to learn)
