What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Groomer position at Ava’s Dog Salon?
We are seeking professional Pet Groomers to join our team. Our ideal candidates must have at least one year experience in bathing and grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes.
We are hoping to find someone who would be willing to work part time 3-4 days a week. Preferably on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday.
Benefits are as follows
W-2 position
Commission based pay of 50-55% (based on experience) plus 100% of tips.
1 week Vacation/Paid time off after 1 year of employment
Aflac benefits including but not limited to short term disability, accident insurance, cancer insurance, critical illness insurance, ect.
Set schedule every week
Qualifications are as follows:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be available to work 8 AM to 4 PM with reliable transportation.
Must have excellent customer service skills, reliability and willing to help co-workers. We have a very team-friendly atmosphere
Must be able to lift large breed dogs and handle dogs of all breeds.

- answering calls to book appointments

We are a privately owned small business dog grooming salon in Wesley Chapel. We have been open for almost two years and growing fast! Our staff prides itself on our “Quality over Quantity” Moto. We all do our very best to keep the pets and pet owners happy. We have a high energy salon with tons of support from each other. We’d love to find someone who fits right in with us!

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
