Your Role at AVASurgical Chairside Assistance
- Assist the doctor during advanced procedures including:
- Dental implant placement
- Full arch / All-on-X surgeries
- Bone grafting
- Sinus lifts
- Wisdom teeth and surgical extractions
- Periodontal surgeries
- Soft tissue grafting
- Maintain smooth procedure flow by anticipating doctor needs and staying organized throughout surgery.
Patient Comfort & Experience
- Help patients feel calm, informed, and cared for before, during, and after treatment
- Provide post-op instructions with empathy and clarity
- Use your bilingual skills to create trust and comfort with Spanish-speaking patients
Clinical Excellence
- Prepare treatment rooms with surgical instruments, implant components, and supplies
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
Technology & Records
- Take digital X-rays, CBCT / 3D scans, photos, and impressions when needed
- Accurately chart treatment notes using Dentrix or similar software
Team Support
- Assist with scheduling flow, patient coordination, and front desk support when needed
- Help maintain AVA’s high standard of hospitality and efficiency
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience
- Surgical dental experience preferred
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Strong work ethic and positive energy
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Professional appearance and communication skills
Preferred
- Implant or periodontal assisting experience
- CBCT / digital imaging experience
- Experience with IV sedation cases
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
