What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Nurse position at AVA Care of Harrisonburg?
Staff Nurse: (part-time, 24-28 hours/week) This position advances the mission, vision, and values of AVA Care of Harrisonburg primarily by providing medical services to patients, assuring that each patient is provided with care, compassion, confidentiality, integrity, and excellence.
Shift Responsibilities
- Perform medical services such as pregnancy and STI testing, nursing consultations, dispensing of medical information and prenatal vitamins as appropriate.
- Ensure all operations are in accordance with current medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain all certifications and competencies required for a licensed medical professional; current BLS.
Qualifications:
- BSN/RN with 3 years of experience required (preferably in women’s health)
- Must have strong Christian faith and be in agreement with AVA Care’s Statement of Faith and Code of Christian Conduct.
