Job Description

This Aerospace Engineer Co-op will include working as a part of multi-disciplinary engineering team to conduct material characterization of novel aerospace materials. The applicant will work on thermal, mechanical and aerodynamic studies of a variety of aerospace material systems in realistic environmental conditions. Performance analysis for these material prototypes may include simulation of both the material parameters as well as conditions of test. As part of the continuous improvement of test processes this role requires meetings with team members to prove feedback that will assist in adjusting test plans based on findings.

Position Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate aerospace related engineering program.

Strong academic record, sophomore standing or higher.

Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB).

Good communication skills and ability to work in team-oriented environments.
