What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at AV Restaurant & Lounge?
We are looking for a Food Runner to join our team and facilitate collaboration between our fine dining kitchen and wait staff.
Whether you already have food running or restaurant experience, or if you’d like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we’d like to meet you.
Availability on Wednesday and Thursday evenings is required, with the potential for additional Friday shifts as needed. Weekend availability is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Memorize table and seat numbers to ensure food is delivered quickly and accurately to the correct guests
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
- Delivering bread "butler style" and assuring tables have the correct silverware for each course presented
Job Type: Part-time
