Job Summary
AV Hospitality SBC is seeking an energetic and motivated Front of the House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have bar management experience, including responsibilities such as ordering, inventory control, and managing alcohol sales .

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of both front and back of the house operations. Responsibilities include overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing Front of the house staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and assisting with inventory, and performing closing tasks. We are looking for a individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
*Our ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in full service restaurant/bar management, and a positive outlook on life.
Duties
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, seating arrangements, and ensuring timely service.
- Lead staff training and development to uphold high standards of customer service, food handling, and safety procedures.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor team performance, and provide coaching to optimize productivity and morale.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS system operations (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling practices across all front-of-house activities.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure seamless food production, timely service, and quality control.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism to enhance overall satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within quick service or fast food environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a background in supervising teams and conducting staff training & development.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols in a hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing shift responsibilities effectively.
