Job Summary
We’re looking for a motivated, reliable individual with zero experience required to join our growing automation business in St. George. You’ll learn the trade from the ground up while earning a guaranteed minimum wage base plus uncapped commission (for leads you produce) on every job.

Key Responsibilities
- Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat6, speaker wire, coax, etc.)
- Install and mount TVs, projectors, speakers, and displays
- Assist with smart home integration (lighting, audio, security, networking, control systems)
- Set up and program AV equipment for residential clients
- Test systems, troubleshoot basic issues, and train homeowners on how to use their new tech
- Keep job sites clean and organized
- Load/unload equipment and maintain company vehicle/tools
- Grow into sales opportunities by identifying add-on upgrades during installs
What We’re Looking For
- No prior experience necessary — we provide on-the-job training and mentorship
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided after training period)
- Comfortable with basic hand/power tools
- Must pass a drug test and background test.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technology daily
- Commission-inspired mindset — you’ll be rewarded for efficiency, quality work, and helping close upsells
Bonus skills (not required): Basic electrical knowledge, customer service experience, or interest in smart home tech (Crestron, Control4, Savant, Sonos, etc.)
Compensation (Commission-Inspired Structure)
- Base Pay: Utah minimum wage ($7.25/hour) guaranteed (more for proven experience)
- Commission: Generous percentage on labor, equipment margins, and project upsells (potential to significantly increase take-home pay)
- Realistic Earnings: Top performers commonly reach $20–$30 /hour effective rate within the first year through commissions
- Overtime pay when applicable
