Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for day -to- day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure the best quality product is delivered to a customer in a timely manner.
Terms:
Permanent, full- time position.
Responsibilities:
- Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to effectively measure different products
- Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection
- Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts
- Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times for most accurate results
- Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required
- Other related duties as assigned
- Previous experience operating a P/CMM equipment
- Experience operating Milling machine, Surface grinder, Drill press, Hand tools and Precision instruments
- Ability to read a blue print and GD&T interpretations
- Ability to use MS Word & Excel computer applications
- Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Knowledge/experience in Renishaw Modus/ Camio, Polyworks, Nikon Metrology Software is a definite asset
