Concrete Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties

• Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable structures and surfaces.
• Set up and dismantle formwork using carpentry skills, including framing and trim carpentry techniques.
• Install rebar and metal reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete elements.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete pumps, mixers, and lifting machinery safely and effectively.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving materials and equipment around the site while maintaining safety protocols.
• Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating power tools and heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
• Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping processes.
• Experience with masonry work, tile laying, stucco application, plastering, roofing, restoration projects, and flooring installation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards; familiarity with OSHA regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing, framing carpentry, caulking, trim carpentry, welding, and roofing is a plus.
• Construction site experience including renovation projects; familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous.
