We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable structures and surfaces.
- Set up and dismantle formwork using carpentry skills, including framing and trim carpentry techniques.
- Install rebar and metal reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete elements.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete pumps, mixers, and lifting machinery safely and effectively.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving materials and equipment around the site while maintaining safety protocols.
- Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience operating power tools and heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping processes.
- Experience with masonry work, tile laying, stucco application, plastering, roofing, restoration projects, and flooring installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards; familiarity with OSHA regulations preferred.
- Knowledge of metal stud framing, framing carpentry, caulking, trim carpentry, welding, and roofing is a plus.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects; familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous.
