Day-to-Day
The Warehouse Management System (WMS) Analyst serves as the primary technical and operational liaison between distribution center operations and warehouse system applications. This role is responsible for supporting, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing warehouse platforms, and to ensure seamless order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and shipping operations in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with hands-on warehouse floor experience and a genuine customer-service mindset, partnering closely with operations teams, IT, and external customers to resolve issues quickly and minimize disruption to the business.
Qualifications
- 2 years of hands-on experience supporting any type of Warehouse Management System in a live, high-volume distribution center or fulfillment center environment.
- Demonstrated experience working on the warehouse floor or in close daily partnership with floor operations. Not purely a back-office or help-desk role.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose issues under time pressure during active shipping windows.
- A genuine customer-focused mindset: clear communication, responsiveness, and a sense of urgency when supporting both internal operations teams and external customers.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven warehouse environment, including occasional evening, weekend, or peak-season hours.
- Solid understanding of warehouse processes including inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, wave/batch picking, and outbound shipping/carrier integration.
- Preferable experience with basic SQL queries, Excel, and system reporting tools for data analysis and issue investigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical warehouse staff.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
