What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Remote Sales Representative position at Auvita Financial?
About the Company
Auvita Financial is expanding its nationwide sales team and looking for motivated professionals who want to create a second source of income without leaving their current job, career, or family responsibilities. This opportunity is designed for people who want to begin part time in a steady, needs based industry while building something of their own. Insurance protection remains important through changing economic conditions because families continue to need help protecting their income, homes, and loved ones.
You can work from anywhere in the United States. Meet with clients from home, continue working while traveling, or schedule appointments around your current job and family. Many agents begin with a limited weekly schedule and increase their activity as their experience, client base, and income grow. This is not an hourly position. Agents are independent business owners who earn commission based compensation, build their own book of business, and create the potential for bonuses and ongoing residual income.
About the Role
Agents meet with prospective clients by phone or video appointment. You will interview clients to understand their financial situation, family responsibilities, budget, existing coverage, and insurance needs. You will review available products from multiple carriers and explain the options that may be appropriate for the client. Because Auvita Financial operates independently, you are not required to place every client with the same insurance company.
Responsibilities
- Conducting phone or video appointments with prospective clients
- Interviewing clients to understand their needs, goals, and budget
- Reviewing carrier and product options
- Presenting recommendations clearly and ethically
- Completing and submitting applications
- Following up on underwriting requirements and pending business
- Helping clients through the policy placement process
- Maintaining communication with existing clients
- Managing appointments, follow up, and personal activity
- Participating in training and coaching
- Maintaining an active insurance license
- Completing required continuing education and carrier training
- Following state regulations and professional standards
Qualifications
This opportunity may be a strong fit for someone who wants additional income but cannot or does not want to leave their current position immediately. Successful candidates often come from customer service, hospitality, call centers, inside sales, retail, real estate, banking, healthcare, education, or other client facing professions. Previous insurance experience is helpful but not required.
Required Skills
Candidates should be comfortable speaking with people, asking thoughtful questions, explaining information, and following up consistently. You should also be coachable, self directed, professional, and motivated by performance based income. Both licensed and unlicensed candidates are encouraged to apply. Unlicensed candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain a life insurance license and complete all required training and continuing education.

Previous insurance experience is helpful but not required.
