Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care and services
• Manage and coordinate the work of LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with the RN Director to develop and implement unit goals and objectives
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities
• Provide guidance and support to new employees and students
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient charts, incident reports, and staff performance evaluations
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Unit Manager preferred
• Nurse License (LPN) required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN; experience as a Unit Manager or Charge Nurse preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
