Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and detailed documentation of patient conditions using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic
- Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and oral routes while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and accurate medical documentation.
- Support discharge planning and case management efforts to facilitate smooth transitions from long-term care facilities to home.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing is required
- Previous experience in LTC setting preferred
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
