Materials Handler
E3 Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:50pm - 7:00am
Autumn Harp provides premium service and creative solutions in product development and manufacturing of products for the personal care industry! Our OTC licensed facility provides support for our clients who range from major global corporations to independent brands.
Reporting to the Material Handling Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for preparing, staging, and delivering materials to production while ensuring accuracy and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, works well independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic. The ability to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) is required for this position.
This role requires the ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., as well as stand and walk for extended periods. The Material Handler may also assist on production lines as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify, stage, and deliver materials to production on schedule
- Perform inventory transactions within the ERP system and keep jobs updated throughout the shift
- Wrap, move, and transport pallets to designated locations
- Communicate effectively with production and cross‑functional teams
- Operate in a safe, responsible manner and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist production operations when required
Skills and Qualification:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- General computer proficiency
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and make timely, effective decisions
- Solid reading, math, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Prior forklift experience preferred (company certification provided)
