Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated NOC Medpasser to join our team. Administers medications to patients in healthcare settings, such as assisted living facilities, ensuring they receive the correct medications at the appropriate times. Records doses, monitors for side effects, and reports to nurses, primarily as a CNA or medication aide, following strict facility and state guidelines for safe patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of our community. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both interpersonally and through notes in ECP. Duties
- Keep detailed records of all administered medications, dosages, and times in patient charts.
- Monitor residents for adverse reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to supervisors or nurses.
- Work with other staff to provide holistic care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Maintain clean medication carts/rooms and notify pharmacies for refills.
- Follow all health regulations, safety protocols, and resident rights policies
- Document procedures, issues, and resolutions accurately for future reference.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to resolve technical issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Experience
- Med pass certified
- CBRF training
