Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient, safe, and quality-driven production of our products. In this role, you will oversee daily factory activities, coordinate with team members, and uphold safety standards while maintaining high productivity levels. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the manufacturing floor to meet quality and efficiency targets
- Lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols, including proper manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary
- Interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions to facilitate accurate manufacturing processes
- Oversee the use of power tools and forklifts, ensuring safe operation at all times
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility operations with a strong understanding of manufacturing management principles
- Hands-on experience with assembly lines, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and operate forklifts safely
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $26.50 - $28.00 per hour
