Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to oversee our centralized BDC team. This manager will lead a team of 6 representatives responsible for managing all inbound sales and service leads, ensuring timely follow-up, effective communication, and high conversion rates.
The ideal candidate will bring energy, organization, and accountability to the department, fostering a culture of performance and customer care.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 5 inbound sales BDC reps and 1 service BDC specialist.
- Oversee all inbound leads across sales and service channels, ensuring rapid response and effective appointment setting.
- Monitor and manage CRM utilization, lead tracking, and follow-up processes.
- Work closely with sales and service managers to coordinate appointments, measure lead quality, and improve conversion rates.
- Develop outbound service campaigns to fill appointment schedules and recapture lost customers.
- Create daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for management.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to meet or exceed goals.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-focused work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in automotive BDC management or sales leadership (required).
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., VinSolutions, DealerSocket, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage KPIs and deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
