Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Writer role based in Tulsa, OK. The Service Writer serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, greeting customers, listening to their vehicle concerns, and clearly documenting service requests. Daily tasks include answering phones, scheduling appointments, creating and updating work orders, and providing service estimates with transparent explanations of recommended repairs. The role involves coordinating with technicians, tracking job progress, and communicating status updates to customers to ensure timely and accurate service. - Ability to learn and explain automotive services in simple terms; prior experience in an auto shop or service environment is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple customers and work orders efficiently.
