Position Overview
The Master Planner oversees the planning function for ASI's complex, multi-stage production environment supporting advanced robotics and autonomy solutions. This role ensures the right materials, resources, and capacity are aligned to deliver on ASI's build schedules, customer commitments, and long-term operational targets. The Master Planner serves as the strategic anchor between operations, engineering, supply chain, and finance-driving planning accuracy, system optimization, and consistent execution across the organization.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in modern planning systems, thrives in a fast-moving technical environment, and brings the analytical rigor needed to scale ASI's production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Scheduling

Own the master production schedule across multiple product lines, work centers, and facilities.

Translate demand, materials, engineering input, and capacity constraints into executable plans.

Develop and maintain long-horizon capacity models to ensure delivery and growth readiness.
Operational Execution

Monitor daily production performance and adjust schedules to accommodate material flow, engineering changes, equipment availability, and priority shifts.

Ensure all plan changes are communicated clearly and promptly across functional teams.

Drive planning discipline and accuracy through structured processes and KPI visibility.
Systems, Data & Process Improvement

Lead planning system enhancements, ERP/MRP optimization, and planning-related digital transformations.

Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for leadership review.

Champion data integrity, ensuring high accuracy in BOMs, routings, lead times, and inventory records.
Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to ensure alignment between demand, constraints, and execution.

Lead initiatives that improve forecasting accuracy, reduce lead times, and optimize materials flow.

Coach and develop planners, setting clear expectations, processes, and performance standards.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.

5 years of progressive planning experience in complex manufacturing environments.

Expertise in ERP/MRP planning modules and planning software tools.

Demonstrated capability managing multi-stage or multi-site planning workflows.

Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Proven success driving planning process improvements and influencing operational outcomes.
