What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Schedule and assign daily work objectives for the service detail technicians
- Monitor performance and counsel service detail technicians with behavioral or performance issues
- Train, coach, supervise and assist the service detail technicians
- Maintain a safe and efficient shop area that is free of hazards
- Maintain an objective assessment of each service detail technician's training, skills and abilities
- With the assistance of the service consultant and service manager, chart the performance of each service detail technician
- Coordinate ongoing training for the service detail technicians and maintain a log of the completed training and certifications received
- Maintain a schedule of the service detail technician absences for training, vacation or personal reasons to assure proper staffing to meet work demands
- Conduct team meetings with the service consultants and service detail technicians to assess prior day performance and review work assignments for the day
What are the requirements for this job?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Two or more years of supervisory experience (preferred)
$26/hr
