What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Call Center Agent position at AutoNation?
This is more than a traditional BDC role. Our Sales Agents leverage AI-assisted technology, CRM tools, and modern communication platforms to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while helping customers find the right vehicle.
What You'll Do
- Engage customers shopping for a vehicle through internet, phone, and digital inquiries.
- Respond quickly to new leads using phone, text, email, and AI-assisted messaging.
- Build rapport and identify each customer's vehicle needs, budget, and purchase timeline.
- Provide product information and answer customer questions.
- Schedule showroom appointments with dealership sales teams.
- Follow up with customers throughout their shopping journey to increase appointment show rates.
- Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM.
- Consistently achieve productivity, appointment, and customer experience goals.
