The Marketing Analytics Data Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting Marketing Analytics' effort to drive marketing insights. This role will report to the Marketing Analytics Sr. Manager of Data Engineering. They will be responsible for maintaining and developing data processes/ELT required for departmental reporting using a combination of open source and cloud-based tools. This individual will serve as the technical bridge between our data and data analysts.

Job Requirements:

• Work with a variety of tools to construct and maintain ELT processes for end user reporting.
• Devise solutions to improve existing processes for efficient and accurate data movement.
• Engage with key stakeholders to discern data requirements and support data related issues.
• Meet with external vendors to set up data ingestion into our Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Build data marts using dimensional modeling for ingestion into Qlik dashboards.
• Distribute manual excel reporting on an ad hoc basis.
• Collaborate with DBA to provide technical support for any data or infrastructural issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering/Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar field.
• 3 years of data engineering experience
• Expertise in SQL, Python (or similar scripting language), Excel
• Experience working with Airflow or Dagster job orchestrators
• Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse
• Experience building data models from raw data.
• Experience designing data pipelines using various design patterns including but not limited to: Batch, Streaming and API integration
• Experience or familiarity working with the following types of data is strongly preferred: Clickstream data, web analytics, campaign metrics and customer journey.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tealium, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Bing Ads, Automotive Industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, DBT, Rivery, CI/CD, Docker, Azure Datafactory is a plus
• Familiarity with front end visualization tools including PowerBI, Tableau & QlikSense is a plus
