Experienced Collision Technicians

Automotive Training Center, one of the most respected post-secondary automotive training schools in the Philadelphia metro area (Exton & Warminster, PA), is looking for dedicated and experienced technicians that would enjoy teaching adult students. Full-time Collision Instructors are currently needed for the Exton and Warminster Campuses. No teaching experience is required; ATC will provide a training/mentorship program.

Whether you are a retired Collision Technician or just ready to put the tools down and share your knowledge with others, this is a great opportunity to share your collision experience with students eager to begin their career in the collision fields.

Essential Duties:

· Conduct classroom and hands-on shop training covering specified subject matter using the schools training aids and equipment with the support of computers and software, tools, and product knowledge

· Test students to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction

· Report on the progress of students under guidance during training periods.

· Maintain student records

· Provide support and guidance to students as they navigate their respective automotive career path

· Facilitate morning/afternoon/evening classes as needed

Qualifications:

· 5 previous years of technical work experience in the collision field

· Ability to speak effectively before groups

· Ability to listen, respond and interact with discussion in both an individual and classroom environment

• Be willing to participate in and provide documentation for 20 hours of technical training per year to meet ASE Education Foundation requirements
• Obtain ASE certification during the training period in the subject matter for the expected classroom assignment
• Be willing to participate actively in platform training and apply what you learn to your classroom with your students

· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet designated deadlines
