Automotive General Manager – Import Dealership (Macon, GA market)
A well-established, family-owned dealership group just outside of Macon is looking for a strong, hands-on General Manager to lead a growing import store. This is a rare opportunity to step into a stable organization with an excellent reputation and true support from ownership. The dealer is open to a strong General Sales Manager looking for the next step in their career. It's important that the person hired is a hands-on leader as the store is averaging 40-50 units a month currently, with further room for growth. Definite room to continue to grow used car volume as well.
What We’re Looking For:
- A proven leader who can motivate, train, and elevate their team
- Strong new and used car sales management experience
- Hands-on operator focused on increasing volume and building processes
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus, but not mandatory
- High integrity, professional presence, and a commitment to doing things the right way
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving sales growth and implementing strategies to increase monthly volume
- Leading, developing, and holding a solid team accountable
- Working closely with ownership without being micro-managed
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure a smooth, high-performing sales environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation in the $140,000 - $150,000 range with true room for growth based on performance.
