Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager)

Finance Manager - South Shore, MA area ($180,000-$250,000)

Established family-owned new-car dealership on the South Shore is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Manager (F&I Manager) to join their team. This person will be the only Finance Manager in the dealership, so the individual hired must be capable of handling the entire F&I process from start to finish while maintaining accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and a high level of customer service. Must know how to gross and sell product the right way to hit sales objectives, while also ensuring customers have a positive experience.

The dealership is looking for a Finance Manager who can work independently, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and move customers through the delivery process efficiently without sacrificing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing strong results, maintaining clean paperwork, and conducting business with integrity. Integrity is a core value of the dealership, and unethical sales practices will not be tolerated.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire F&I process from deal structure through funding.
• Present finance, lease, service contract, GAP, and vehicle protection products.
• Structure finance transactions and secure lender approvals.
• Complete accurate, compliant finance contracts and paperwork.
• Ensure all deals are funded promptly and accurately while resolving funding stipulations, contract discrepancies, and lender requirements.
• Maintain clean deal jackets and ensure compliance with all dealership, lender, state, and federal regulations.
• Deliver customers efficiently while minimizing wait times and maintaining a positive purchase experience.
• Work closely with the Sales Managers and sales team to ensure deals move smoothly from the showroom through delivery and funding.
• Consistently achieve finance performance goals while maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Finance Manager / F&I Manager experience in a franchised new-car dealership.
• Ability to independently manage the entire finance process from start to finish.
• Proven track record of finance production, product sales, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Experience working with multiple lenders and funding sources.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation package based on performance but a strong F&I Manager should have no issue earning in the $180,000-$250,000 range.
