Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Painter who takes pride in their work and is committed to excellence. This role is ideal for a professional who values quality over speed, has a sharp eye for detail, and is capable of leading by example in a high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of automotive and RV painting, including prep, masking, priming, color matching, and finishing
- Ensure all work meets our high-quality standards and maintains consistency across projects
- Mix and match paint accurately, including custom and specialty finishes
- Inspect completed work for imperfections and make corrections as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Oversee paint processes and provide guidance or mentorship to other team members when needed
- Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional automotive painting experience (RV experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of paint systems, tools, and application techniques
- Proven ability to produce high-end, show-quality finishes
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Ability to color match and blend seamlessly
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a lead role
