Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the service department
- Deliver outstanding customer service from vehicle drop-off through delivery
- Build estimates and present repair recommendations professionally
- Sell maintenance and repair services based on customer needs
- Schedule and prioritize workflow for technicians
- Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed on time
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
- Review repair orders for accuracy before vehicle delivery
- Monitor labor efficiency, technician productivity, and shop profitability
- Order and manage parts inventory while controlling costs
- Work with warranty companies and fleet accounts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate employees
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit goals
Qualifications
- 3 years of automotive service management or service advisor experience
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience using automotive shop management software
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required

- Automotive repair shop management
- Transmission repair experience (preferred but not required)
- Fleet account management
