What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Automotive Parts Manufacturer?
- Establish and maintain communication with other team members and support departments
- Inspection of multiple finished goods and raw materials, dock audits, and KanBan attachment
- Perform layered audits of the production process
- Defect claim sorting and records, assistance with repair of defective material. PDN part collection
- Maintenance of quality hold cage/monthly inventory
- QA defect investigation for production
- Work safely within a production environment with fiberglass and chemicals
- Daily review of Supplier rejects
- Daily entry of Supplier defects into the non-conforming problem log
- Weekly review of the defects with the Suppliers in-house at AHK
- Creating the Supplier Payment Notice (PDN)
- Closing the PDN once a RMA is issued by the Supplier(s)
- Changing status of Supplier product in PLEX and printing revised labels
- Transfer scrap material to the shredder
- Prepare rejected material for being returned to Supplier
- Reviewing and approval of Supplier Certificate of Analysis (COA)
- Review Supplier Acceptance Standards (SAS)
- Support 3rd party Supplier sorts
- Perform other duties as required (other projects or assignments requested)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
