About the Role
As a Counter Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Auto Value, assisting retail and commercial customers with their automotive parts needs. You’ll help identify the right parts, mix paint, process returns, and provide expert guidance to ensure every customer leaves with confidence and satisfaction. This role also plays a key part in maintaining the daily operations and high standards of our store.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding service to retail and commercial customers by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate parts and solutions.
Utilize catalogs (digital and print) to locate parts, provide options, and suggest upgrades or complementary items.
Assist with mixing automotive paint and managing non-application parts.
Answer phone inquiries to support commercial delivery and in-store sales.
Process transactions accurately while following store policies.
Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care.
Contribute to store organization including freight check-in, stocking, cleaning, cycle counts, and label maintenance.
Help maintain store security, safety, and a clean, welcoming environment.
What You Bring
Prior experience in auto parts sales or solid automotive knowledge is highly preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with store operations and POS systems is a plus.
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
Team player mentality with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers.
