Summary Description: Manages the opening and closing of the store, the store security, and the daily operations within the store including counter sales, walk-in customers, purchasing, merchandising the store, dispatching and delivery. Coordinates the distribution of the products and services the company sells to customers. Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient inventory management.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Manage purchasing and stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory control.
- Handle cash register operations and ensure proper cash management.
- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance store visibility.
- Conduct employee interviews and assist with recruitment and payroll processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management and retail sales
- Strong team management and supervisory skills
- Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers
