Automotive Technician — A / High-B Level

$35–$50 per hour | $75,000–$120,000 earning potential | Monday–Friday | Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Automotive Ingenuity is looking for an experienced A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing shop in Pine Island, NY.

This is not an entry-level position.

We work on all makes and models, with approximately 70% of our customers driving foreign vehicles. We’re looking for a technician who is comfortable working across a wide range of vehicles and has strong experience diagnosing and repairing European and other import vehicles.

You’ll see a strong mix of:

• BMW / MINI
• Mercedes-Benz
• Audi / Volkswagen
• Porsche
• Land Rover / Jaguar
• Volvo, Lexus, Toyota, Honda and other import vehicles
• Domestic vehicles
• European performance vehicles
• Select exotic, classic and specialty vehicles

• Advanced mechanical diagnosis and repair
• Electrical and drivability diagnostics
• Engine and transmission work
• Cooling, HVAC, suspension and brake systems
• Factory-level scan-tool diagnostics
• Performance upgrades and specialty work
• Maintenance and general repairs on all makes and models
• Digital vehicle inspections and proper repair documentation

The ideal candidate is an experienced A-Level or strong B-Level technician who can work independently and produce quality repairs efficiently.

Foreign and European dealership or independent-shop experience is strongly preferred, but we will also consider a highly capable general automotive technician with strong diagnostic skills.

You should be comfortable diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles without constant supervision.

Experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi/VW, Porsche, Land Rover, Volvo, Lexus or other import brands is a major plus.
