Title: Digital Asset Manager
Report to: Vice President of Operations and Programs
The Digital Asset Manager is the primary administrator to the Automotive Hall of Fame’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This position will manage the care of reference materials, creative work, and uniquely defined assets that support the awarding processes at the Automotive Hall of Fame. This position supports cross-departmental collaboration, marketing efforts, and special projects.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Digital Asset Manager include:
· Oversee DAM processes through the asset lifecycle, including workflows for creation, naming and approval of assets; uploading, tagging, and sharing content; syndication of assets for informing stakeholders; depreciating and archiving assets.
· Ingests or oversees the uploading of all digital assets.
· Assigns roles and log in credentials to all DAM users ensuring all departments have access to assets in the DAM.
· Stays well versed in Acquia/Widen updates and functionality trainings.
· Trains staff in how to use and leverage the DAM to achieve department goals.
· Oversees metadata entry and tagging for all assets in the DAM.
· Maintains, by regular review and updating, all Digital Asset Management Policies and Procedures.
· Develop reports related to public use of the Digital Archives (Asset use and Portal Use), including ease of access and relevance survey.
· Collects and reports on other data to support grant reporting related to the project.
· Research and secure use right for assets lacking these permissions in writing.
· Supports the Archival management and handling policies and procedures.
· Supports other information management projects as agreed upon.
Wage: $45,000 - $52,000 annual salary

Skills required: Knowledge of digital asset management system and archive collections management best practice policies and procedures. Knowledge of WidenAssets preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and display exceptional time-management and organizational skills. Must demonstrate a professional demeanor whether speaking to others in person, over the phone, via email or through letters. There is the expectation to have the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends, and be able to display command of the Automotive Hall of Fame’s mission, work, and strategic plan in short time.
Qualifications:
· 1 – 3 years library, archive or museum collections experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree from an ALA accredited library and information program or commensurate program/training or work experience.
· Demonstrate commitment to help customers, system users, or patrons in solving problems or locating information.
· Proven experience working in databases with preference given to experience with Digital Asset Management tools.
· Must possess strong attention to detail.
· Solid technical background and/or hands-on technical experience.
· Must be well-organized and self-directed.
