Pay Range: $130K - $150K

Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly manufacturer financial statements by the 10th of each month.
· Reviews the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory payables, and floor plan payables.
· Cash administration - checkbook, bank records, accounts payable disbursements, cash flow, expense control.
· Calculation and posting of Standard Journal Entries, General Journal, and new & used Sales Journals.
· Maintain floor plan payments with financial institutions.
· Control of accounts receivable and vehicle receivables.
· Help with Title problems.
· Train and develop accounting staff of 12-15 people.
· Enforce accounting processes and protect the business interests of the owners.
· Coordinate annual audit and physical inventory.
· Prepare statistical data, post, and verify monthly.
· Work with Department Managers to communicate and improve dealership processes to ensure that company policies and internal control measures are being followed.
· Identify cost reduction and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
· Five to seven years automotive dealership experience, multi-location responsibility preferred.
· CPA certification preferred but not required.
· Tekion DMS a plus.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to analyze, problem solve, make decisions in fast paced setting.
· Intermediate to Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel.
