Automotive Technician A or B

St Johnsbury Subaru is looking for a skilled A/B Level Service Technician to join our busy and well-equipped shop in St Johnsbury. Duties

• Perform accurate diagnosis and repair of automotive systems, with an emphasis on electrical and diagnostic work
• Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Complete repairs efficiently and correctly the first time to maximize quality and customer satisfaction (CSI)
• Document all work clearly on repair orders, including cause, correction, and recommended services
• Road test vehicles to confirm repairs and identify additional needed work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and the parts department to keep jobs moving
• Stay current with Mitsubishi technical training and updates

Experience

• 2–5 years minimum of automotive technician experience (A/B level)
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills — this is a core requirement of the role
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Subaru or import experience a plus, but not required
• Own set of professional tools
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Solid work ethic, dependability, and a team-first attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
