Are you a technical sales professional who knows industrial automation and loves to win new business? We’re recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead growth for an Industrial Controls group at a well-established, employee-owned specialty contractor with 80 years in the industry.
The Role
- Drive new business development for the Industrial Controls group
- Build relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term clients
- Own tradeshow strategy and execution from planning to post-show reporting
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and project management teams
- Manage pipeline and leads through CRM
- Shape content and marketing strategy alongside the marketing team
You’re a Great Fit If You Have…
- 3–5 years in industrial controls, automation, or a related trade environment
- Hands-on experience in technical sales or business development
- Knowledge of industrial automation, controls integration, and UL 508A panel shop solutions
- Rockwell Automation product familiarity (preferred)
- Experience managing tradeshows and marketing activities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present at all levels
- CRM proficiency and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client and job sites
