Sales and Service Rep (Automation Robotics and Controls)

Automation Robotics and Controls (ARC) is looking for an Automation & Robotics Sales Representative to grow our presence throughout North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. Ideal candidate would live close enough to Fort Payne for daily customer visits in this area.

This is a field-based outside sales role focused on strengthening existing customer relationships, growing sales within established accounts, and developing new opportunities throughout the territory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain relationships with industrial customers
• Identify opportunities for automation solutions, robotics, parts, controls, and services
• Handle product demos and solutions walk-throughs
• Grow the territory through parts sales and smaller projects while developing relationships that can lead to larger future projects
• Visit manufacturing facilities and work with maintenance, engineering, operations, and purchasing teams
• Understand customer problems and connect them with ARC's technical solutions
• Work closely with ARC's engineering and project teams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're especially interested in someone with experience in industrial automation, robotics, controls, or maintenance.

Sales experience is preferred, but strong technical experience can make up for limited sales experience. If you've worked on industrial equipment and understand how manufacturing environments operate, we'd like to talk to you.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Willingness to travel throughout North Alabama and Southern Tennessee
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $75,000–$95,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Commission and performance bonuses
