- Design and develop electrical control systems utilizing CAD software to create detailed schematics and layouts.
- Program PLC/HMIs and other automation components using the latest Allen-Bradley Automation Software and Hardware
- Perform root cause analysis on electrical system failures using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot hardware issues effectively.
- Manage project scheduling to meet deadlines while coordinating with customers to make system changes.
- This job is 95% in office/No Travel. Most customer support is done remotely. Travel is rare.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and intergarting real world control systems a must
- Strong experience with CAD software for electrical panel design.
- Familiarity networking and business IT infrastructure a plus.
- Mechanical engineering understanding combined with electrical expertise to support integrated system design.
- Ability to perform debugging using tools like ohmmeters and logic analyzers; conduct root cause analysis efficiently.
- Knowledge of industry standards including NEC regulations; experience in manufacturing environments ensuring compliance with safety codes.
- Strong project management skills including project scheduling; ability to coordinate multiple tasks across teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting designs, creating technical reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
