Commercial Sales Representative - Automatic Door & Glass Specialists, Inc. (ADGS)
Central Indiana | Full-time | $65,000–$80,000 (DOE)
At ADGS, quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction come first. We install and service automatic doors, manual doors, storefront, glass, and glazing for commercial and industrial businesses throughout central Indiana. We're hiring a Commercial Sales Representative to drive new-construction sales, build relationships across the design and construction community, and grow our recurring service business.
What you'll do:
- Build relationships with architects, engineers, and general contractors and get ADGS products written into project specifications
- Track local construction activity and plan rooms, and bid new work aggressively and competitively
- Coordinate jobs between customers, contractors, and our installers — from parts ordering through completion follow-up
- Maintain existing accounts and pursue service contracts for steady, recurring revenue
Required:
- Able to read architectural drawings and specifications, prepare bids, and work from plan rooms and construction lead services
- Experience with glass and metal systems in commercial service and construction
- Track record of growing sales and service accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license; willing to travel across central Indiana
Preferred:
- 3–5 years in commercial glass, glazing, or door systems
- Established relationships in the central Indiana architecture, engineering, and general-contracting community
- AAADM certification
- Estimating/takeoff software and CRM experience
- Working knowledge of ADA and building-code/safety standards for doors and glass
What we offer:
