We are hiring immediately for multiple VENDING, MICRO MARKET ROUTE DRIVING positions.
Location: 6900 Imperial Dr. Waco, TX 76712 and Bryan / College Station, TX.
Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday. Typical schedule is 5:00 am to 2:00 pm
Requirement: Prior Route experience needed. Truck driving or delievery experience helpful. Clean driving record, attention to detail and good customer service a must.
Automatic Chef is the premier Vending, Coffee and Micro Market Company operating in Central Texas. Locally owned and operated since 1961.
Summary: A Route Driver operates a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains micro market and related equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image at all times while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships. This position has excellent advancement opportunities, providing employees with the foundation needed for entry level management opportunities. This is not an OTR delivery only position. You can start early and be home by mid afternoon most days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
- Conducts inventory reconciliation. Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market. Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
- Stocks shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers; collects stale, rejected or unsold merchandise; collects money from machines, and refills bill and coin changers.
- Records transactions on appropriate or electronic device. Accountable for cash and product.
- Provides vending products and services at each single location.
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
- Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
- Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and other related equipment.
- Conducts minor service and adjustments on machines. When necessary reports defective equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
- Prior to beginning each days route, ensure that truck is properly loaded with all product required to properly service all scheduled machines following outlined operational procedures.
- Informs regular clients and customers of new products or services, listens to and resolves service complaints.
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; preform pre & post trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years driving experience preferred
- Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license and good driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.)
- Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day

Pay: $42,500.00 - $52,500.00 per year
