Job Description: This role is responsible for assigning work, monitoring progress, training team members, and serving as a key liaison between production and other departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee daily operations on the production floor to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained -Assign personnel and delegate tasks to ensure efficient production of parts and vending machines -Interpret engineering specifications, job orders, and production prints and communicate clear instructions to team members -Train new team members on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures -Monitor and support team performance while fostering a safe and productive work environment -Load daily production data into the production tracker and maintain accurate records -Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution -Confer regularly with managers and other team leads to coordinate operations and resolve cross-functional issues -Complete and submit the department's shortage list by noon daily -Collect and review daily production logs, entering the data into the appropriate manufacturing files • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area; ensure trash is removed daily
Qualifications:Qualifications -High school diploma or equivalent required -3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment -Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred -Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications -Proficient with Microsoft Office and production tracking tools -Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills -Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams -Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or multiple shifts as needed
