Job Description: This role is responsible for assigning work, monitoring progress, training team members, and serving as a key liaison between production and other departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities: -Oversee daily operations on the production floor to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained-Assign personnel and delegate tasks to ensure efficient production of parts and vending machines-Interpret engineering specifications, job orders, and production prints and communicate clear instructions to team members-Train new team members on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures-Monitor and support team performance while fostering a safe and productive work environment-Load daily production data into the production tracker and maintain accurate records-Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution-Confer regularly with managers and other team leads to coordinate operations and resolve cross-functional issues-Complete and submit the department's shortage list by noon daily-Collect and review daily production logs, entering the data into the appropriate manufacturing files•Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area; ensure trash is removed daily
Qualifications-High school diploma or equivalent required-3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment-Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred-Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications-Proficient with Microsoft Office and production tracking tools-Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills-Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams-Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or multiple shifts as needed
