Job Description:
We are looking for someone to join our team as a CNC Lathe setup and operator. We operate multiple CNC machines. Job responsibilities include set up machine, reading prints and job orders for part specifications, be able to conduct dimensional inspections on parts produced. Machinist will perform a complex series of machine operations on a wide variety of parts with tight tolerances. Need to meet precise tolerances and finishes that are required. This is not a production shop. Most orders are one & two piece orders.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of CNC programming and machining formulas.
- Ability to work from detailed part drawing & specifications
- Must be able to use measuring equipment
- Requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and workmanship
- Communicate with supervisor and co-workers for instruction and questions
- Be able to setup and operate CNC machinery
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
