Janitorial Site Lead Automated Maintenance Systems $17.00 per hour
Automated Maintenance Systems is hiring a reliable and experienced Janitorial Site Lead to oversee cleaning operations at our client sites. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities while supporting and developing a strong team.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of janitorial staff
- Assign daily tasks and create work schedules to meet site needs
- Perform regular quality inspections to ensure high cleaning standards
- Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory
- Ensure all work follows safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Step in to perform cleaning duties when needed to meet deadlines
- Communicate with clients and resolve any concerns professionally
- Keep accurate records of work completed and report issues to management
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of commercial janitorial or custodial experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical work
- Flexible schedule — must be available for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation is a plus
