What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Sales Representative position at Automated Laundry Systems and Supply?
Automated Laundry Systems & Supply is currently looking for a high energy, self-motivated Sales Executive to help grow our business with competitive pay, benefits and advancement opportunities.
Sales Executive expectations are to increase sales of laundry equipment, dry cleaning equipment, supplies and chemicals. Sales Executive will also maintain current customer relations while actively growing our customer base. Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8-4 with occasional overtime.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
- Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with decision makers.
- Visiting existing customers to review product needs and determining other opportunities.
- Opening new accounts.
- Updating customers on new products or upgrades.
- Providing solutions to customers’ problems.
- Attending Trade Shows and Conferences (if applicable).
- Preparing sales reports and tracking sales growth.
- Performing maintenance and updating of customers’ accounts including equipment installation when needed.
- Daily reporting to General Manager.
Requirements/Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Excel.
- Must be organized with good time management skills.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Possess strong presentation, negation and closing skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Position requires travel throughout the State of Alaska including overnight stays.Qualifications:
- 2 years outside sales experience.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Clean driving record and current Alaska drivers’ license.
- Must be able to obtain security clearance with the Department of Corrections and Military installations.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
Compensation includes annual salary with bonus options, major medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation, personal time off, holiday pay and 401K.
