(ACSI) is looking for Medical Collectors to join our Healthcare Department, where you'll help patients navigate their financial obligations while building a fulfilling career.

What You’ll Do

• Assist patients in resolving outstanding medical balances via inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Educate patients on available payment plans, insurance claims, and financial assistance options.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and conduct skip tracing when necessary.
• Work in a collaborative team environment built on trust and mutual respect.

• Training Schedule: Onsite training Monday-Thursday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM).

What We’re Looking For

Education: High school diploma/GED required.

Experience: Medical collections, healthcare billing, or call center experience preferred, but not required.

Skills:

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FDCPA, and insurance claim processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and multitasking.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism.
• Mindset: A commitment to treating patients and teammates with Fairness, Friendliness, Dignity, and Respect (FFDR).
