A variety of services that are offered to our customers that include printing and copying devices, large print production devices, building access control, VOIP phone systems, managed IT services and many other offerings.
Position Overview
ABT is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Dispatcher / Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our field technicians are efficiently scheduled and supported, and that our customers receive timely, high-quality service. The ideal candidate will be a multitasker with strong communication skills and a background in service coordination-preferably within the copier and printer industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and monitor daily work assignments for service technicians
- Track technician locations and job statuses throughout the day
- Input service order requests received via phone, email, or client portals
- Schedule and maintain monthly maintenance agreement inspections
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch customer service calls
- Maintain accurate customer, location, and call history records in the ERP system
- Update and edit service calls with technician-reported information
- Provide customer quotes when needed
- Communicate service order updates to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams for resolution
- Escalate service issues, complaints, or labor concerns to the Service Manager
- Build strong relationships with customers, technicians, and internal staff
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, along with strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication is essential, as is a customer service mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The role requires someone who can work collaboratively across departments and maintain a high level of accuracy and follow-through. Attention to detail is critical, especially when managing multiple service calls and technician assignments. Prior experience dispatching multiple technicians to various jobs daily is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary between $40,000-$60,000 (commensurate with experience)
