HELP WANTED: HVAC Estimator (Commercial Service & Small Projects)
Automated Building Controls is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This role focuses on estimating service repairs, small projects, and maintenance agreements for commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for HVAC service repairs and small retrofit projects
- Develop pricing and proposals for preventive maintenance agreements
- Review job specifications, site conditions, and service reports to build estimates
- Coordinate with service technicians, project managers, and customers
- Source equipment, materials, and subcontractor pricing
- Follow up on proposals and assist in closing work
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the HVAC industry (service, installation, or estimating) required
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and interpret field conditions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
