Automann services its distributors out of (5) US Distribution centers; Monroe Township NJ (HQ), New Lennox IL, Duncanville TX and Ontario CA, Hiram, GA and (2) distribution centers in Canada: Brampton ON and Edmonton AB.

Primary responsibilities
- Evaluate Import documents and customs releases; Process documents for Import and domestic shipments against purchase orders and inventory guidelines; ensure documents are sent to brokers & forwarders within required timeframe;
- Assist with customs tariff classifications as needed;
- Interact/problem solve with customs brokers/forwarders regarding shipments in transit and verify status
- Communicate with internal Purchasing sales staff, local warehouse as well as remote warehouse locations to keep track of new, pending, and in-progress inbound shipments
- Work with Accounting regarding invoice payable requirements.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in a logistics/freight related position
- General understanding of Import Trade Compliance regulations
- Active work experience with HTS classifications
- Multi-tasker, independent thinker and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Microsoft Office
