What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Automotive Diagnostic Technician position at Automania?
Automania, a business established for over 24 years in Georgia, is looking for a different kind of technician. We're not looking for someone who just swaps parts by trial and error — we're looking for someone who thinks like an engineer, who can read an electrical diagram, who masters the diagnostic scanner, and who solves the real problem the first time, without generating comebacks.
Pay: $35/hour and up, based on experience and certifications, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus (paid half at signing, half at 90 days).
To apply, we need four things:
1. Tell us about an electronic problem no one else could solve, and you did.
2. Send us your employment history with dates — we value stability as much as skill, so if you've had a long tenure at one shop, that counts strongly in your favor.
3. Tell us exactly which ASE certifications you hold — not just that you have them, but which ones specifically.
4. Tell us how much you expect to earn, and why.
If you're passionate about solving what others can't diagnose, this job is for you.
